Norman Silverman

Norman Silverman is a retired owner and COO of The Emerson-Sack-Warner Corp., a precision metal fabricator, and a former Management Trustee and Chairman of The Local 123 Sheet Metal Workers International Health & Welfare Fund. He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University in 1958. In 1961-62, he served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force in Europe. Currently, Mr. Silverman is a Trustee of Tufts University and on the Board of Overseers for the Tufts College of Engineering. He is also on The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy Board of Advisors for the program in Southwest Asia, Islamic Civilization. He is a Trustee and Treasurer of the French Library and Cultural Center in Boston, a Vice President of The Boston Center for Adult Education, a Director of The Boston Lyric Opera, The Boston Philharmonic and The Boston Public Library Foundation.
